Office Manager/Senior Project Manager – Las Vegas, NV
Candidate Sought: Cabrera Services, Inc. seeks an Office Manager/Senior Project Manager to be based in our Las Vegas, Nevada office.
Description: The Las Vegas Office Manager provides management support and leadership for office, project, and program activities in the Las Vegas NV area and greater Southwest region. The responsibilities as Office Manager include:
- Manage and mitigate office overhead costs to established budget
- Ensure all project and office financial reports are prepared and submitted in a timely manner
- Ensure personnel performance reports are completed and submitted to Corporate Operations as outlined by Cabrera Human Resources Policy
- Monitor personnel performance and utilization and report significant changes (positive or negative) to Corporate Operations
- Implement all required personnel actions with direction and/or coordination of Corporate Operations
- Manage personal and direct report utilization to established budget and ensure accountability is tracked and maintained
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for effective project planning that provides technical quality, maintains personnel productivity, and culminates in punctual delivery of project deliverables within established budgetary constraints. Responsibilities will incorporate the following:
- Direct the successful execution of all project level activities
- Implement contracts and subcontracts
- Manage client relationship to ensure client satisfaction and to secure future project assignments
- Manage proposal and project teams
- Maximize project profitability while ensuring minimum profit targets
- Minimize project risk (personal, financial, legal, client relations, and performance)
- Report any significant changes in scope, schedule, or budget to Program, Contracts, Client, and Office Managers

Requirements: The successful candidate will travel frequently to project locations and will have experience that incorporates the following:

Field Site Manager
Candidate Sought: Cabrera Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Field Site Manager.
Description: The Field Site Manager will apply his or her knowledge and experience in leading field investigations and in assuming responsibility for conducting radiological and/or environmental investigations. Responsibilities will incorporate the following:
- Manage all aspects of project activities under the direction of both project engineers and cognizant project management
- Serve as a liaison between project management and field staff, relaying anticipated or encountered problems as well as potential solutions to project supervision and management
- Supervise and provide direction to lower tier technicians on proper and effective job performance
- Provide radiological health and safety coverage by monitoring other on-site project personnel
- Assist supervision in ensuring field measurements are obtained and processed in a technically defensible manner
Requirements: The successful candidate will travel for extended periods and will be deployed for field work commitments year-round. The Field Site Manager must be able to:
- Alert management of any unusual work, quality, or safety issue that may arise in the field
- Provide adequate follow-through to ensure such issues are addressed in a timely manner

Description: The successful candidate will lead on-site remediation of radioactive and chemically-contaminated hazardous waste sites. Responsibilities will incorporate the following:

- Serve as a liaison between project management and field staff

Description: The Contracts Manager manages critical contractual information and processes as well as company obligations of high risk and visibility. The successful candidate must be able to provide direction and leadership, and may be called on to supervise and mentor less experienced contract professionals. The Contracts Manager’s responsibilities incorporate the following:
- Provide contractual domain expertise in contract development, negotiation, execution and administration; generally, leads all contractual negotiations on behalf of the company
